Water Activities 2005

During the summer we spend most of our time out on the water. We canoe and sail in Portsmouth Harbour, Langstone Harbour or Alverstoke Lake. We provide training in theory and practicise such that the scouts can be assessed for BCU and RYA sailing qualifications. To participate in the water activities all must demonstrate a 50 metre swim, in clothes, at the local pool.

43rd Regatta 2005

At the end of each season we have a fun and games night of races followed by a BBQ.

Swordsands 2005

We try to have a day out on the sand banks in Langstone harbour each year. This year we had a number of the youngsters and leaders out for a pleasant days sailing and lounging around.
