The Manor House, Court Lane, Cosham
They give us use of their garage for storage, their garden for our fund raising Fun Days and their car park for car boot sales. Not forgetting a place where the leaders can go after Scouts to relax after a hard evening!!
We used this award to purchase a new boat trailer. The double axle trailer will hold a dozen canoes or with the racking removed provide a box strong enough to be used to carry equipment for our camps.
For allowing us to collect donations within their Farlington store
We used this award to by new canoes, paddles etc.
We received a £100 donation towards water safety equipment.
We are buying some additional buoyancy aids suitable for some of our smaller lads who currently look a bit lost in our existing aids.
We received a £500 donation towards equipment.
We are equipping out our new safety boat, purchasing some additonal buoyancy aids and another kayak.
